d: salmon with garlic roasted tomato topping over home made tabbouleh
workout: crunches, walk
A little anxious to weigh in tomorrow...somehow i dont feel i made any weight loss progress but hopefully not any gains either...no freakin cardio though for 3 days....oh god how life and work can get in the way sometimes.... BUT! I'm off tomorrow...KICKING ASS TOMORROW MORNING, 7:30 SHARP!!
I'm Jo, 27, 5'5". Currently 124lbs. My final weight goal (i started at 165lbs...) is to be 120, but Im currently stucked around 123. I'm hoping to find here motivation to help me shed my last 3-4 pounds away without starving myself!
During my (so far) 40-pounds weightloss process, I experimented a lot of plateaus. One at 135 (weightwatchers), one at 130 (Atkins), one at 125 (workout), and this one (intense workout).
I also have a plateau that doesn't involve weight: my abs just wont develop!! I do some weightlifting, and quickly remarked some differences in my legs and arms, but the darn mid-section is still as flabby. My stomach was my first and is still my main reason to lose weight/inches and tone up. But while I lose from everywhere, my tummy doesn,t bulge...thus I,m DESPERATLY seeking advices on that matter before i resort to lipposuction!
thanks in advance for the support and tips!
Hello and welcome!
So I've finally begun my quest to REALLY beating this plateau... I feel like I might be on to something here with what I've been doing lately, which has resulted in a consistant .5lbs loss a day. My plan is going to differ from others out there, but that's really the point of this community: to mix and match ideas from everyone to formulate a plan that will work FOR YOUR plateau ass kicking. My plan goes as follows:
2 CMI firecaps on intense workout days pre workout.
Work out usually consists of turbo sculpt, or some other cardio with weights, followed by pilates or yoga, then a jog.
My breakfast always consists of eggs and whole grain toast with green tea, sometimes a fruit, and lots of water. I tend to drink 3 liters of water a day to fight off cravings and hunger. Lunch is usually a good solid protein, tons of veggies, maybe a small starch, and lots of water. Dinner is usually pretty small in comparison, and usually includes my "splurge of sanity" for the day. My splurge is usually cheesecake, or some sweet that helps me stay on track.
I'm anxious to hear from everyone else and how you plan on breaking your plateau. Together, we can do it!
